Assoc. Prof. at Pediatric allergy, Clinic Immunology and Rheumatology Division, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University, Makassar.
Dr. Bahrul Fikri is a graduate of Gadjah Mada University, and obtained his PhD from Chiba University, Japan. He has also undertaken a two-year student traineeship at Riken Research Center, a renowned laboratory in Japan.
His research focuses on allergic diseases in relation to gut microbiota and Vitamin D
Other than being a researcher, he is also an International Collaboration Coordinator at Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital, Makassar, a leading hospital in the eastern part of Indonesia
